If ever there were three that hated more,
that loved more,
that plotted more...

We do not know of them.

The war between the South Bay Wolves and the North Coast Wolves
had been ongoing for more than three centuries.
Each pack had its separate personalities;
the South Bay Wolves hot-headed and aggressive, powerful and militant;
the North Coast Wolves cunning and quick, plotting and conniving.
Each wished to conquer the other, each wished to have the territory of the island to themselves.
But neither would give up, and so a blood bath ensued.
Each side was almost wiped out.

But then, appropriately named, Juliet entered the wolf world.
She fell in love with her Romeo, whose name was Farce.
Together, they stole away to the highest point of the island, the hills of Aie.
Together they formed the Alliance, and halted the war for many years.

But now, two centuries later, the alphas of all three packs have no blood to feel sympathetic for,
so all three are poised for war.
The initial goal of the Alliance has been forgotten, and no one cares.
The winter has been harsh, the numbers dwindled to almost nothing.
Tempers are flaring. Blood is boiling. It's a treacherous time.
