Bright light flooding into the small hole was all that was needed to make the jill's green eyes slowly open. She smiled, though she was momentarily blinded by the radiant light, but soon saw her new, comfortable den. She smiled and rose to her paws, quickly hopping out.

Finally, after finishing his snack, Grove ran out of his large den and looked around once more. Catching a flash of movement once again, he began to bound towards it, leaping from tree to tree, trying to catch up.

The male looked up as a movement caught his eye. Seemed like Whitewind was awake. Must be a morning ferret, he thought as he observed her from his rock.


The fea looked around, and gulped down the rest of the berry as fast as she could. "Oh! Hello there," She finally said when she had regained from her surprise.

After tensing her muscles, she immedietly released it as she lunged, a small squeek escaping her mouth. She smiled as she landed right beside the beetle, giggling silently as it flew away, obviously in surprise.

"Hi, I couldn't help but see you go down here, and I was looking for some company. Guess I found some," he said, a smile now visible on his face. He pulled his bushy tail closer to himself, somehow paranoid with it laying on the ground.

Whitewind nearly jumped back an inch, not exactly noticing the male being there. She regained her posture and replied, "No, I just like to watch them fly. It's... Interesting to watch them do so."

"I'm Grove," he answered, bowing his head slightly in a small greeting, "Who might you be?" He lifted his head back up and raised an eyebrow, intent for her answer.

Torrin gazed out of deep brown eyes from where his leg was stuck in a bramble. It seemed like he was always getting stuck, trapped, or tangled in some way or another. He chattered out, hoping someone would hear him.

"My name is Lenna. " Usually after that someone would say that it was a pleasure to meet you or something, but the fea didn't bother. She just stared down at her paws, ears down in shyness.

Whitewind merely shrugged as she said, "Be that as it may, I don't do this often." She was slightly irritated, as she was just taken from her trance of appearant fun. But, either way, there was a rose bush she had passed when she was coming into the territory, and she planned to visit it again.

Grove nodded, giving a crooked smile, "It's nice to meet you, Lenna." He then looked to the berry bush, "Wow. You found a nice stash there." He looked back to her, and muttered, "I might as well be going now. I don't want to interupt you."
